Dan Jonker

Dr. Dan Jonker is the Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services at the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District in Holland, Michigan.  In addition to his work with OAISD, he is a part-time instructor in the Education Department of Western Michigan University. He received his Doctor of Education degree from Eastern Michigan University. He has an M.A. in History from Drake University and an M. Ed. in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Dr. Jonker's research interests are in the areas of quality assessment and school leadership. He has 19 years of teaching experience at the middle school and elementary levels. He is a former middle school principal and central office administrator in curriculum and personnel.
